Prior to 1971, there was no formal NSSF SACCOS.
NSSF SACCOS is a financial institution for savings and crediting among NSSF employees.
in 1971, NSSF SACCOS was established as a seperate entity from NSSF with registration number 2056, to cover various NSSF employees needs.
Essentially the institution focuses on raising, maintaining and improving the welfare of its employees by satisfying various needs, economically, socially and culturally while considering the principles of democracy and policies and values of Association of Workers Union.
